Becker Fishin’ Derby

Get- together will be going on all weekend. Come out anytime to hang out or go fishing. Some will arrive as early as Wednesday and Thursday. If you can make it only for a day or two that’s great too. If you do come for the weekend, there will lots of space for campers and tents, as well as some floor space for sleeping bags. In addition to the main event of FISHING, we have a few surprise activities planned. If you want please bring drinks, snack foods and a covered dish. We will be looking and listening for some really crazy fish stories, to honor our fisherman, so start making one up before the big event!! For those who will not be fishing, there will be shopping in Lindsborg, games, beach time or plenty of time to just kick back and relax. Please help make this a big event by notifying your family (children and grandchildren), the bigger the turn out the better!!! Bring waders for fishing. If you do not wish to fish, you may just hang out and chat, play games and eat yummy food.
ITINERARY FOR THE WEEKEND:
FRIDAY-
Fishing- supper at Smolan
SATURDAY-
The fishing Begins!! 8:00 AM-6:00 PM- Really have the guys ever been back when they say they will??!!
Free choice of activities, Burger and dogs on the grill
SUNDAY- The big day!!
Fishing, Horseshoes and darts
“Small fry” HorseshoeFish Fry Supper at 5:00
Presentation of Awards- so in other words, you better impress the sisters, and don’t do anything you don’t want reminded of in the years to come!!
EXTRAVAGANZA - A short program by the kids “The Prestigious Pole Award”
